Nocc is a coalition of concerned citizens and public leaders from lake orion and oxford fostering a substance abuse free community where healthy decision-making is valued and where individuals and families thrive since 2011. The coalition became a recipient of the white house office of national drug control policy (ondcp) and substance abuse and mental health services administration (samhsa) drug free communities support program. The coalition is committed to the proactive education of parents and families with respect to juvenile drug use and strives to connect the community together in creating a safe, drug free and healthy environment for all. The nocc website is www.noccmi.org, where more might be gleaned about successful projects and community outreach in addition to the "about us" section where the organization's history and leadership are presented. The organization's documents are shared with the community upon request. Nocc makes its governing documents, conflict of interest policy and financial statements available upon request. Substantial disclosure of all activities is given real-time by means of the nocc website www.noccmi.org.
