Mission

The charitable purpose of the conservancy includes operating and maintaining main plaza in san antonio, texas, in coordination with the city of san antonio and bexar county, texas; developing and implementing a strategy to increase awareness of the historical and cultural significance of main plaza of san antonio; and organizing cultural and artistic events at main plaza to bring residents and visitors to the downtown area.

The charitable purpose of the conservancy is to operate and maintain main plaza through increasing historical and cultural awareness and organizing cultural and artistic events.

LINE 2C: FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND REPORTING

No change has occurred in main plaza conservancy's oversight or selection process during the tax year.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Fin 48 the conservancy previously adopted the provisions of uncertain tax position as addressed in fasb asc 740-10, which requires that the conservancy recognize in its financial statements the financial effects of a tax position, if that position is more likely than not of being sustained upon examination, including resolution of any appeals or litigation processes, based upon the technical merits of the position. There were no identified uncertain tax positions that were required to be quantified and disclosed and the adoption of this guidance had no impact on the finanical position, results of operation or cash flows of the conservancy. As of september 30, 2018, the conservancy has no uncertain tax positions that qualify for either recognition or disclosure in the financial statements. The conservancy's tax years 2014 and thereafter remain subject to examination for federal tax purposes.
