Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

Bpca instituted a conflict of interest policy for employees, officers and members of the board of directors. Each year, bpca requires employees and board members to complete a conflict of interest disclosure form and disclose potential conflicts pursuant to organizational policy. These forms are reviewed by senior management. If a conflict of interest is perceived, actions depend on the level of conflict. If related to a board member, the issue is discussed by the full board of directors and the interested party is dismissed from the discussion. For employees, the issue is addressed by senior management, in both cases, appropriate action will result.
