“The georgia chamber of commerce, ("the chamber"), ein 58-1537370 is the paymaster for all foundation employees. Five chamber individuals provided full-time services and two chamber individuals provided part-time services to the foundation. The foundation reimburses the chamber for a portion or all of the salaries, benefits and payroll taxes. For 2024, reimbursements totaled $756,014.”
“The organization recognizes the combined financial statements effects from a tax position only if it is more likely than not that the tax position will be sustained on examination by taxing authorities, based on the technical merits of the position. Examples of tax positions include the tax-exempt status of the affiliate and various positions related to the potential sources of unrelated business taxable income (ubti). The assessment of the technical merits of a tax position is a matter of judgment. The organization believes that all of its tax positions are more likely than not to be sustained upon examination.”

THE ORGANIZATION BELIEVES THAT ALL OF ITS TAX POSITIONS ARE MORE LIKELY THAN NOT TO BE SUSTAINED UPON EXAMINATION. |
