EOJ PRODUCTIONS PRODUCED CHRISTMAS NEAR THE BEACH, OUR ANNUAL HOLIDAY OUTREACH FOR THE NINTH YEAR. THE CHRISTMAS 2015 EVENT DREW AN ESTIMATED ATTENDANCE OF 7,000 AIDED BY SUPPORT FROM LOCAL RADIO STATIONS BOTH CHRISTIAN AND SECULAR. HAVING CLOSED THE BALLET ACADEMY, EOJ SUCCESSFULLY TRANSITIONED ALL INTERESTED STUDENTS TO NEW SCHOOLS. CREATIVE DIRECTOR JOSI GEYER TAUGHT CLASSES AT TWO DIFFERENT ACADEMIES TO ASSIST WITH THE TRANSITION. Eoj ballet continued to explore avenues for the creation of a christian ballet conservatory and pre-professional ballet company. Rehearsal space has been pledged by two existing ballet academies but progress has been delayed pending pledges for operating support.

Eoj productions produced christmas near the beach, our annual holiday outreach for the ninth year. The christmas 2015 event drew an estimated attendance of 7,000 aided by support from local radio stations both christian and secular. Choirs, bands, and performers from dozens of local churches as well as recording artists and two ballet companies brought the christmas story to the public square in a powerful and engaging way. The city of hollywood and local community organizations provided extraordinary support with the chamber of commerce and cra pledging support for 2016.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 30

Having closed the ballet academy, eoj successfully transitioned all interested students to new schools. Creative director josi geyer taught classes at two different academies to assist with the transition. She continued to offer training support for existing church and community dance troupes in both technique and choreography. Eoj operated at a loss during this transition year as the revenues generated by the academy has not yet been replaced. Salaries were drastically reduced to maintain reserves.

CHOIRS, BANDS, AND PERFORMERS FROM DOZENS OF LOCAL CHURCHES AS WELL AS RECORDING ARTISTS AND TWO BALLET COMPANIES BROUGHT THE CHRISTMAS STORY TO THE PUBLIC SQUARE IN A POWERFUL AND ENGAGING WAY. THE CITY OF HOLLYWOOD AND LOCAL COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS PROVIDED EXTRAORDINARY SUPPORT WITH THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND CRA PLEDGING SUPPORT FOR 2016.

SHE CONTINUED TO OFFER TRAINING SUPPORT FOR EXISTING CHURCH AND COMMUNITY DANCE TROUPES IN BOTH TECHNIQUE AND CHOREOGRAPHY. EOJ OPERATED AT A LOSS DURING THIS TRANSITION YEAR AS THE REVENUES GENERATED BY THE ACADEMY HAS NOT YET BEEN REPLACED. SALARIES WERE DRASTICALLY REDUCED TO MAINTAIN RESERVES.
