Program Services

DescriptionGrantsExpenses
Planning and conducting a farmers market to support local agriculture businesses and artists. We operated for 20 days during May to Oct for 5 hours each. Our market draws huge crowds to our downtown area supporting local businesses and market vendors alike. In 2025 our vendors hit a record-breaking year for sales.$0$6,509
We implemented the SNAP and Double Up Food Bucks DUFB programs to support community members needing food assistance. DUFB allows us to match up to $20 in vouchers that can be used on Colorado-grown produce. We redeemed $1900 in SNAP vouchers and $1300 in DUFB from market patrons purchasing fresh local organic foods.$0$0
Supporting community members needing food assistance by partnering with the Gunnison Country Food Pantry for food gleaning. Gleaning is the process of rescuing unsold food that might otherwise be tossed in the garbage or compost bin. Our vendors were able to donate unsold food at the end of the market day in exchange for a tax-deductible receipt.$0$0
