Doug albrecht and john o'connell have a family relationship and a business relationship. Additionally, john o'connell and bob brinkmann have a business relationship.

An annual statement is signed by each board member to ensure compliance with the conflict of interest policy.

FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION B, LINE 15A:

The foundation annually establishes an ad hoc committee for the purpose of establishing the executive director's compensation. The committee, which is composed of persons who have no family or other business relationship with the executive director, reviews comparability data relating to total compensation paid to executive directors of similarly situated exempt organizations. Following review of such data, the committee establishes a total compensation amount to be paid to the foundation's executive director which represents fair market value for her services for the applicable period in issue. This amount is then presented to the full board of directors for approval.
