Vincentian rehabilitation services has two outpatient locations - one on the vincentian home campus in the north hills and one on the marian manor campus in the south hills. Vcsrs is a member of vincentian collaborative system, a catholic health and human services organization headquartered in the north hills of pittsburgh.
Vincentian collaborative services rehabilitation services, inc. Is a member of the vincentian system, a catholic health and human services organization headquartered in the north hills of pittsburgh that offers a continuum of highly-rated senior care services at multiple locations across allegheny county, including independent living, skilled nursing, short term rehabilitation, long term care, personal care and memory care, and operates two child development centers. Each year, vincentian collaborative system provides more than $11 million in benevolent care, serves more than 1,000 older adults, serves more than 250 children and working families, and provides employment to approximately 500 people. Vincentian's mission statement is: "compelled by the love of christ, vincentian collaborative system nurtures and sustains a ministry of compassionate care that preserves the human dignity of persons within a diverse and changing society."

“The system, the homes, vincentian collaborative system rehabilitation services, and the center are not-for-profit organizations as described in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and are exempt from federal income taxes on their exempt income under section 501(a) of the internal revenue code. The organization follows the provisions of the income taxes topic of the fasb accounting standards codification that pertains to accounting for uncertainty in income taxes. These provisions clarify the accounting for uncertainty in income taxes recognized in an organization's financial statements and prescribe a recognition threshold of more-likely-than-not to be sustained upon examination by the appropriate tax authority. Measurement of the tax uncertainty occurs if the recognition threshold has been met. These provisions also provide guidance on de-recognition, classification, interest and penalties, and disclosure. Management has determined that these provisions do not have a material effect on the consolidated financial statements. The organizaton's federal returns of organization exempt from income tax are subject to examination by the taxing authorities until the expiration of the related statutes of limitations on those returns, which is generally three years.”
