Governance Explanations

Governing body meeting documentation Part VI line 8A

Regular monthly meeting of the Post shall be held on the second Monday of the month at 7:30 PM at the facilities of the Post, or at such other location as the Executive Committee shall designate, provided written notice of any location other than the facilities of the Post is supplied to each member of the post at least ten days in advance of hte date therefore. No other notice shall be required.

The Board of Directors may establish any committees as it deems necessary and appropriate. In such event, the Board of Directors shall designate the number of members thereof and shall also provide to each such comittee a mandate specifying the duties and objectives and reporting requirements thereof. Members and the Chairperson of said committee shall be appointed by the President subject to the concurrence of the Board of Directors.
