Mission

The regional heart network is a collaborative venture of providers dedicated to implementing a seamless system of cardiovascular care throughout the region. The regional heart network links hospitals in northwestern pennsylvania and western new york to shared technology, training and expertise, ensuring the highest standard of heart care is available to every patient. Patients conveniently stay in their communities and receive the same state-of-the-art diagnostic services that they would at the region's heart care leader - saint vincent heart center. It is collaboration at its finest, giving patients and their physicians seamless access to the finest cardiac services.

Rights and interests of each member are proportional to the voting rights of that member (determined by their proportional capital contribution to the organization). No fundamental change in the organization's operations or governance may be made without the written consent of every member. Members have the right and power to take or authorize any action by or on behalf of the corporation which may be taken or authorized by the board of trustees. The board of trustees manages the business of the organization. The board of trustees may exercise all powers of the organization conferred upon them by the bylaws and may perform all lawful acts that are not required of members. The executive officers - chairperson, vice chairperson, president, and secretary - who are part of the board of trustees, may be elected annually by their fellow trustees. Regional health network irs form 990 was reviewed by senior management of the organization, the audit and compliance committee before filing the tax return with the internal revenue service, a final copy was provided to all members of the board of directors.

Form 990, Part VI, Line 12C Conflict of interest policy

The organization follows ahn conflict of interest policy to assure that duties are performed in good faith and in the best interests of the corporation. All members of the board of directors, officers, and employees are required to remain free from any conflict of interest that may hinder their ability to objectively, effectively, or fairly perform their responsibilities. They complete a conflict of interest disclosure statement and certification immediately upon joining the company, and thereafter must complete the conflict of interest disclosure statement and certification at least annually; and, throughout each subsequent year they disclose any changes in circumstances that may either give rise to a potential conflict of interest or change a potential conflict previously disclosed.
