“The organization is comprised of members who pay annual membership dues which are used to further the organizations's exempt purpose of providing and maintaining its biking/hiking trails for the general public. The organization provides a quarterly newsletter to its members which apprises them of the status of various events, trail upgrades and maitenance issues.”

“Members of the organization's governing board must be dues paying members of the organization.when board positions become vacant the board accepts nominations to the board from any person so long as they are active dues paying members. The governing board then votes on acceptance of nominations with its 15 board member limit as a constraint. Officer positions when terms have expired are determined by recommendation of a selection committee and then voted on by the full board of directors.”

“Form 990 is presented to entire board for review. A vote is taken to approve return for filing.additionally a link is provided on the president's email address which permits inspection of the form 990 by board members.”
