IRS990/Desc0Summer camp--provided children and youth opportunity to experience the outdoors, grow in independence, learn social skills and broaden their faith in God. There were 17 separate camps available during June and July, with a total of 337 camp attendees ages 5-18, plus some adults that attended Family Camp and Kiddie Camp with their 5-7 yr olds. Fourteen seasonal summer staff were hired to run the program, provide supervision and safe environment for the campers, and maintain the property during this season. We have a scholarship fund and most of the Middle PA District Churches of the Brethren give a stipend for the children from their church that attend, making it possible for more people to experience the benefits of Camp.
