Organizational document changes Part VI line 4

* Article 1, Section 3 of bylaws currently reads: Non-Discrimination - This Fire department shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, handicap, sexual orientation or disability. This section was updated to include genetics, ancestry, and status as a disabled veteran of the Vietnam Era. * Article 2, Section 11 of bylaws currently establishes criteria for maintaining active member status. This section has been updated to establish a procedure for identifying active members that did not meet the criteria and notify them that their status will change to inactive. * Article 3, Section 15 of bylaws currently indicates that a budget of proposed expenses for the coming fiscal year will be available at the regular November meeting. This section has been updated to make the budget available 30 minutes prior to the November meeting. * Article 7, Section 2 of bylaws currently indicates that the monthly meeting will be held the first Wednesday of each month unless it is holiday or other emergency. This section has been updated to state that in this case the meeting will be held on a subsequent Wednesday of the same month. * Article 7, Section 3 of the bylaws currently states that special meetings may be called by the president of the executive board and that notice of any such meeting will be posted at the station by the Secretary two days in advance of the meeting. The bylaws have been updated to state that notice will be given to the members involved in the special meeting but not that this information will be posted at the station by the Secretary. * Article 7, Section 4 of the bylaws reduces the number of members for a quorum from 7 to 5. It also includes that if the President or Vice President are unable to attend the monthly meeting that the meeting will be chaired by a member of the executive board. * Article 7, Section 18 of the bylaws has been updated to require a meeting within 10, instead of 7 days from a member being dismissed from an emergency call due to unbecoming conduct, creating a safety risk, failing to follow orders, and violating rules. The article has also been updated to state that any charges brought against a member will be provided in writing to that member via certified mail.
