Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The pennsylvania association of community health centers (pachc) is a non- profit association that supports pennsylvania's community health centers in improving health equity and access to affordable high-quality care. It accomplishes this by supporting community health centers (fqhcs and look-alikes), rural health clinics and other primary healthcare providers who serve vulnerable populations in rural and urban areas of the commonwealth and through policy and data analysis, education and strategic partnership and collaboration.

The pennsylvania association of community health centers is an association established to preserve and promote the viability of community based health care centers with consumer boards whose mission is service to vulnerable populations and communities.

Form 990, part i, line 6 - total number of volunteers the number of volunteers consists of the volunteer members of the governing body.

Form 990, Part XI, Line 9

The 2017 financial statements have been restated due to a change in accounting of deferred corporate membership fee revenue and deferred government relations fee revenue. In previous financial statements revenue was reported when received. It had not been managements practice to recognize revenue for corporate membership fee and government relation fees over time. A restatement was necessary in order to recognize deferred government relations fee revenue and corporate membership fee revenue, which were previously reported as revenue in the prior year. As a result, the beginning net assets reflects the changes as of march 31, 2017 resulting from the change in recognition of revenue. Nets assets, originally stated - march 31, 2016 (1,047,056) increase in deferred revenue 32,681 net assets, as restated - march 31, 2016 (1,014,375) net assets, as originally stated - march 31, 2017 (940,211) increase in deferred revenue 37,741 net assests, as restateed - march 31, 2017 (902,470)
