Measurement of the tax uncertainty occurs if the recognition threshold has been met. These provisions also provide guidance on de-recognition, classification, interest and penalties, and disclosure. Management has determined that these provisions do not have a material effect on the consolidated financial statements. The organization's federal returns of organization exempt from income tax are subject to possible examination by the taxing authorities until the expiration of the related statutes of limitations on those returns, which is generally three years.”
