At city mission, a christ-centered rehabilitative homeless shelter, we are dedicated to transforming lives by providing essential services such as food, shelter, case management, medical care, counseling, and life-changing programs. Our holistic approach focuses on restoring the whole person, reflecting god's love and fostering spiritual growth. In fiscal year 2023-2024, city mission served 546 unduplicated individuals through our residential programming, including men, women, and children. During this period, we provided 47,288 nights of shelter to our residents and those seeking emergency cold-weather shelter. Additionally, we distributed 84,912 meals to both our residents and individuals in the surrounding community. Meeting these fundamental needs enables us to build meaningful relationships with our residents, creating a foundation for goal-setting and connecting individuals to supportive community networks. We also engage in conversations to identify and address the barriers they face, assisting them in overcoming challenges through these relationships, community services, and on-campus programs. A key component of our program is helping residents cultivate a relationship with god. Residents participate in daily morning devotions (monday through friday) and attend chapel services on monday mornings, thursday evenings, and two services on sundays. We also connect residents to local faith communities that offer spiritual support. For those in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction, we provide access to both community and on-campus recovery meetings, with six recovery meetings held weekly on our campus. City mission offers a comprehensive, holistic approach to client care, as evidenced by the 4,734 hours of programming provided by our campus team in fy 2023-2024.

In addition to residential programming, city mission's commitment to service extends into the broader community through our samaritan care and we care programs. Samaritan care provides bi-weekly food bags to individuals facing food insecurity. In fy 2023-2024, we distributed 9,390 food bags, benefiting 1,099 individuals. The program also organizes annual initiatives such as backpack distributions, boxes of love, santa's workshop toy distributions, and the provision of clothing vouchers. Samaritan care is an invaluable resource, offering information, program materials, and case management support to community members, with 448 hours of case management delivered in fy 2023-2024. Additionally, our sidewalk program facilitates collaboration with local service providers, delivering food and resource information directly to those in need. The we care street outreach program, which transitioned back to our campus in july 2024, focuses on reaching individuals who are unhoused and unwilling to enter shelters. Through this program, we provide meals, supplies, and medical care to the most vulnerable members of our community.

THE PROGRAM ALSO ORGANIZES ANNUAL INITIATIVES SUCH AS BACKPACK DISTRIBUTIONS, BOXES OF LOVE, SANTA'S WORKSHOP TOY DISTRIBUTIONS, AND THE PROVISION OF CLOTHING VOUCHERS. SAMARITAN CARE IS AN INVALUABLE RESOURCE, OFFERING INFORMATION, PROGRAM MATERIALS, AND CASE MANAGEMENT SUPPORT TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS, WITH 448 HOURS OF CASE MANAGEMENT DELIVERED IN FY 2023-2024. ADDITIONALLY, OUR SIDEWALK PROGRAM FACILITATES COLLABORATION WITH LOCAL SERVICE PROVIDERS, DELIVERING FOOD AND RESOURCE INFORMATION DIRECTLY TO THOSE IN NEED.
