The indian land tenure foundation (iltf) purpose is to inform schools in nine communities, with significant percentages of native american student populaton, accross the state of wisconsin, about the iltf curriculum and about terra's "communities in conflict" video/curriculum packets as education resources for conflict avoidance and resolution on land issues in the state.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 29

The grant awarded to terra institute by the wisconsin humanities council provided funding for the curriculum for the film "legend lake: a talking circle" project. During this project period terra: created a "communities in conflict" curriculum for middle and high school social studies classes based on the themes of the the legend lake documentary produced by terra institute; promoted the curriculum in the state of wisconsin, and piloted the curriculum.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 31

The forect county potawatomie foundation provided financial support for the "visualizing global health in a cultural context " native youth media project which was held august 13-17, 2012 on the bad river reservation in odanah, wi. Media workshops were held on the topics of camera operation, scripting, editing and music composition. Field trips on the reservation provided content for the video projects and introduced the youth to environmental and natural resources issues relvevant to the local native community. At the end of the training, the youth premiered their videos and were presented with a flip cam for future use.

FIELD TRIPS ON THE RESERVATION PROVIDED CONTENT FOR THE VIDEO PROJECTS AND INTRODUCED THE YOUTH TO ENVIRONMENTAL AND NATURAL RESOURCES ISSUES RELVEVANT TO THE LOCAL NATIVE COMMUNITY. AT THE END OF THE TRAINING, THE YOUTH PREMIERED THEIR VIDEOS AND WERE PRESENTED WITH A FLIP CAM FOR FUTURE USE.
