“Line 28 - retreat - under this program, northwest quilters inc. Schedules three retreats per year for quilters to get away together for 3-4 days of minimally-structured quilting time without cooking or household chores. During the year ended june 30, 2024, 108 people attended the retreats.”

“Line 29 - comforting quilts - the comforting quilts program makes quilts to donate to low income and high risk infants and children; children undergoing evaluation for suspected abuse; children requiring residential treatment; children and adults with hiv/aids; elderly adults in nursing homes and veterans' centers; other nonprofit organizations to raffle or auction. During the year ended june 30, 2024, the comforting quilts program donated 2,750 quilts to various organizations.”

“Line 30 - quilt show - under this program, northwest quilters inc. Presents an annual show which runs for 2 days. The show also provides the public with an opportunity to participate in quilt block building activities sponsored by the group's comforting quilts committee. During the year ended june 30, 2024, the 2 day quilt show 1,990 people attended.”

“Membership - there are meetings once a month which include a speaker that talks about things related to quilting. Members meets in novemeber to sew for quilts of valor which goes to veterans. During the year ended june 30, 2024, 85 quilts were made and distributed to veterans along with a presentation case. Community outreach - we make quilts for the community, including salvation army, doernbecher children's hospital and active service members and veterans touched by war. During the year ended june 30, 2024, we donated 150 christmas stockings, 251 pillowcases, and 30 boxes/bags of stocking stuffers.”
