EACH AREA STUDENT IN SIX DIFFERENT SCHOOLS WAS PRESENTED A LETTER INVITING THEM AND THEIR ENTIRE FAMILY TO ATTEND A CONCERT OF THEIR CHOICE FOR FREE. THIS ENCOURAGED MORE FAMILY INVOLVEMENT AND INTRODUCTION TO THE ARTS. THE JANET E. BROMLEY EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAM ALLOWED STAFF AND MUSICIANS TO PRESENT THE SYMPHONY TO SIX DIFFERENT SCHOOLS, OVER 4,300 STUDENTS, AND OVER 450 FAMILY MEMBERS. THE VALUE OF TICKETS DONATED TOTALED OVER 6,800. SEVERAL AREA LIBRARIES WERE ALSO PRESENTED TO THE SYMPHONY IN ORDER TO REACH A AREA YOUTH.
