The Booster organization has members who are independent persons that pay annual dues. The members elect five members to the Executive Board which also includes the Athletic Director. On average there are 25 voting members at each Board meeting. The decisions of the Boosters are subject to the approval of the Kettering City Schools

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11A

The Form 990 is reviewed by the Booster Treasurer with the CPA who prepares the Form 990 and made available to the Executive Committee and members who wish to review it.

Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 12C

The Executive Committee reviews the Conflict of Interest forms that are submitted annually and forms that are completed by a new officer or director.

Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19

The Boosters share some space on the Kettering Athletic Department website and there the Association makes available its membership application, officer list, Booster and Parent Guidelines which includes the conflict of interest statement. The financials are annually provided in a condensed form to the State of Ohio and they are made available to the public by the state or they are available for review by request.

See also Form 990 - schedule G Part II Event 1 The Boosters hold a large number fundraisers throughout the year such as operating the consession stands at one hundred Fairmont sporting events, working at the Citys outdoor concert venue, an annual craft sale, sale of Fairmont spirit wear and other smaller events. The costs consist of the materials purchased for sale and supplies necessary to hold the event. The individual fundraising events generally do not gross more than 5,000.

The members elect five members to the Executive Board which also includes the Athletic Director. On average there are 25 voting members at each Board meeting. The decisions of the Boosters are subject to the approval of the Kettering City Schools

The costs consist of the materials purchased for sale and supplies necessary to hold the event. The individual fundraising events generally do not gross more than 5,000.
