With assistance from an attorney and with ratification by the board of directors, the organization eliminated language that listed purposes and actions that were no longer relevant, updated purposes that parallel the professional development section of the tennessee realtor strategic plan, updated internal revenue code, added sections on action without meeting, updated means of obtaining a quorum, added sections on indemnification and immunity, and clarified the executive director as the person serving as executive vice president of the tennessee realtors.
