RomaniaProgram Accomplishments: In 2011 the New Hope office based in Timisoara printed three new book titles and reprinted over 4,900 copies of 18 titles they had previously printed, and sold a total of 6,071 copies. They gave away an additional 266 titles. They also translated, printed, and distributed quarterly Our Daily Bread devotionals to 550 subscribers. They also published these devotionals on their website and continued efforts to promote and market this ministry tool and their books at the largest book fair in the country and at two different conferences. They sold 24 sets of the BCM Sunday school curricula, and ran five summer camps with a total of 130 attendees. Also, in partnership with four local churches, the New Hope office based in Cluj ministered to 600 kids through camp and VBS programs in 2011. An additional 300 were involved in one-day New Hope events throughout the year. New Hope Cluj also led a large outreach/discipleship program for university students, encompassing small group ministry, 3 mission trips within Romania, a VBS program for 100 gypsy children, a prison outreach, and a large retreat. In November, New Hope in Cluj sponsored a conference featuring well-known family and youth ministries speaker, Jim Burns, which was attended by over two-hundred people.

UkraineProgram Accomplishments: In 2011 there were over 4,200 students enrolled in New Hope Ukraine's Bible Correspondence Course (BCC) program, including 1,209 new students enrolled this year. Through this ministry, over 110 students wrote to New Hope Ukraine to tell them that they had accepted Christ as Savior this year as a result of working through the courses. New Hope ran twenty-five summer camps for BCC participants, with about 2,100 kids attending. They also prepared an online version of the Bible Correspondence Courses which should become available in 2012. More than 28,000 public school students participated in healthy living classes presented by New Hope Ukraine's lecturers in school-approved sessions using a variety of materials including the "No Apologies" materials written by Focus on the Family. Several thousands of these kids attended follow-up events, such as Bible studies, sporting events, conferences and summer camps, a large number of them eventually attended church services and many of those accepted Christ as their Savior and Lord. New Hope Ukraine's orphan care program is continuing to expand each year, with over 360 orphans and foster children placed in 110 Ukrainian families. In 2011 there were 88 children and 18 families added. Two family camps specially designed for adopted children and their families were conducted in two regions, attracting a total of 220 children and parents. New Hope Ukraine's Family Ministry held dozens of trainings, conferences and camps during 2011, as well as several weekly men's and women's Bible studies. A new Family Ministries director was added to the staff of New Hope Ukraine as well. On October 5, New Hope Ukraine went live with an internet evangelistic site in the Russian language called "Why Jesus?" This site is available to any Russian speaker worldwide who has internet access and who searches for a number of different topics online, such as "Jesus" and "God." As of the end of December, at least 215 individuals had visited the site and several had begun or completed the five week course. In 2011 New Hope Ukraine sold over 5,100 copies of 32 different books and resources, and prepared seven new books and collections for publication. This figure includes 120 sets of the Footsteps of Faith Sunday school curriculum program.

They also completed an 11 disc marriage seminar DVD from Dave Sanford, translated into Hungarian. The staff sold about 4100 books (and gave away about 200 more) at book fairs and at four regional conferences for leaders and pastors of the Hungarian Reformed Church. As part of the "Seminary Gifts Project" at two seminaries, all graduates were given a free copy of Jim Burn's book The Youth Builder in Hungarian as well as a 50% discount on other New Hope Hungary ministry resources. Sunday school curriculum produced by New Hope Hungary is now being used by 640 teachers. A pre-marital counselors' training was completed with 35 people in attendance.
IRS990/ActivityOther/Description1SlovakiaProgram Accomplishments: In 2011 sixteen participants received training through the New Hope Slovakia MAP program. The purpose of MAP is to prepare, equip and mobilize children's, youth's and student's workers from various churches so that they are more qualified and passionate to carry out their ministries. New Hope Slovakia put on a family summer camp for 52 participants, held two training conferences to equip participants for family ministry, held a weekend retreat for 12 engaged couples, held regular marriage enhancement meetings for 10 married couples, and began another ministry to divorcees. Forty-three kids were involved in youth meetings twice a month and several of them made decisions to follow Christ. The also sold close to 400 books and gave away over 160 books all concerning family and family issues.
IRS990/ActivityOther/Description2BulgariaProgram Accomplishments: In 2011 New Hope Bulgaria placed a significant emphasis on a program called "Training for Trainers" (T4T). This program equipped 22 individuals to train children's workers in their denominations and regions. These 22 coaches equipped an additional 230 national volunteers and children's ministry workers from 20 local churches from the Baptist, Pentecostal, Methodist, Congregational denominations. Twenty-five sets of a four year T4T curriculum are now being used by 85 children's workers across Bulgaria, with follow-up mentoring taking place for the T4T trainers. 47 sets of the BCM Sunday school curricula were sold. In June, New Hope Bulgaria had two youth work experts from Romania run a three-day training seminar for 20 lay youth workers from churches across Bulgaria. New Hope Bulgaria also published the book Purpose Driven Youth Ministry in late 2011 for widespread distribution beginning in 2012.Forty-five children and teens attended a camp put on by New Hope Bulgaria is conjunction with two churches. Five of the unchurched teens began attending youth group after the camp and two sets of parents started attending church as a result of their child attending camp. New Hope Bulgaria was also instrumental in sending 170 other teenagers to summer camps through partnerships with three other churches in the cities of Burgas, Sliven and Yambol. After the summer camps, 21 of these teens began attending new youth groups formed at these three churches.

IRS990/Description0MoldovaProgram Accomplishments: In 2011 the staff at New Hope Moldova worked with 43 churches to reach approximately 1,000 children in church-related programs. Over 1,200 children attended New Hope summer camps. They also conducted a camp in which several hundred teens and children (350 of them orphans) attended. A significant number of them indicated that they had accepted Jesus as their Savior. New Hope Moldova sponsored a total of 38 Christian youth clubs where 1,400 teenagers regularly attend. Using the Focus on the Family "No Apologies" course and other programs, New Hope Moldova reached 9,000 public school students in 2011. As of September 2011, New Hope Moldova had placed 28 at-risk teenagers who have aged out of local orphanages into family care group homes, where they received life skill and career training. In addition to all of this, the Moldova team continued to send out workers to countries in the 10/40 window.

To provide financial, emotional, spiritual and prayer support to organizations and individuals in Christian ministry in Eastern Europe. To provide the Bible and other Christian literature to organizations and individuals within Eastern Europe. These purposes may include the establishment of indigineous affiliate organizations within Eastern European countries which, with the guidance, support and leadership of New Hope, will perform and encourage Christian ministry and outreach to youth and families within existing religious, social and academic institutions in such countries. In addition, New Hope sponsors "Vision Tours" each year. These tours allow interested individuals to tour several countries in Eastern Europe where New Hope conducts its ministry.
