Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The organization evaluates its tax positions and recognize a liability for any positions that would not be considered "more likely than not" to be upheld under a tax authority examination. If such issues exist, the organization's policy will be to recognize any tax liability so recorded, including applicable interest and penalties, as a component of income tax expense. During the years ended june 30, 2020 and 2019, the organization did not recognize any amount in potential interest and penalties associated with uncertain tax positions.

PART XI, LINE 2D - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:

Paycheck protection program loan forgiveness 196,247.

PART XII, LINE 2D - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:

Paycheck protection program loan expenses 196,247.

PART XI, LINE 2D / PART XII, LINE 2D ADJUSTMENTS EXPLANATION:

Paycheck protection program loan on may 5, 2020, the organization was able to secure a $355,000 loan under the paycheck protection program ("ppp"). The interest rate on the loan is 1.0% per annum. The first six months of interest will be deferred to and payable on the maturity date. Monthly interest payments will commence seven months after the date of the loan. All principal and accrued interest payments are due on may 5, 2022 ("maturity date"). Management reflects the ppp loan as a conditional grant of governmental assistance and has satisfied $196,247 of the loan balance by incurring qualified spending for payroll and allowable expenses between may 5, 2020 and june 30, 2020. The accompanying statement of activities reflects this amount as other income related to the amount that management believes will be forgiven for qualified expenses through june 30, 2020. Subsequent to year-end, management believes it has fully satisfied all ppp requirements to obtain loan forgiveness for the entire loan and accrued interest amount.
