“Our events continue to bring our community together in strong numbers. We had an outstanding 266 golfers participate in our spring golf outing, and our fall outing drew 277 attendees, underscoring the enthusiasm and commitment of our members. In total, 1,065 individuals attended mses events in 2024-a testament to the strength of our network and the value of our organization. Mses now proudly serves a community of 636 members. We also have a very strong group of volunteers from our board members to volunteers to lead our committees.”
“Our commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive profession continued through the 125th invest fund, which focuses on broadening mses' reach and diversifying our workforce by supporting students. We invested 13,500 in 2023, 20,000 in 2024, and are excited to announce that in 2025 we will invest an additional 30,000 to further expand these efforts. In 2024 we awarded 18,000 in scholarships to 7 deserving students, supporting their educational goals and fostering the next generation of leaders in our field. In 2024, mses was notified that we received a generous promise to pledge in the amount of 144,914.45. In 2025, the mses board will assemble a group to discuss how to honor our mission by using these funds to further the transportation infrastructure industry in minnesota.”
