“Our purpose is to promote technology and engineering education in new york state. We hold an annual conference and regular board meetings either via phone conference or face to face. We keep up with nysed and the changes they consider promoting those we feel are beneficial to our field and speaking in opposition to those we feel are not conducive to promoting technology education. We promote teacher recruitment.”

“We give assistance to teachers seeking clarification on nysed mandates and changes to them, maintain a website this year we began updating our web site to look more current and be more user friendly to help disseminate information and share ideas, we generate and issue several journals a year, we hold an annual conference to promote our field and to provide in service education credits to members, we gave out a teacher of the year award to a deserving teacher and we recognize the service of various memebers with awards, part of this cost is shared with the teacher of the year grant, illuminating the cost difference would be difficult.”
