Mission

To gratefully treat all patients and staff with compassion, respect and understanding while providing the highest quality medical care and service available in north alabama. We are dedicated to satisfying the individual needs of our patients through providing easy access to services in a safe and caring environment where everyone feels special. The school of medicine is dedicated to the education of physicians and scientists in all of the disciplines of medicine and biomedical investigation for careers in practice, teaching and research. Necessary to this educational mission is the provision of outstanding medical care and services and the enhancement of new knowledge through clinical and basic biomedical research.

The foundation provides assistance to the university of alabama at birmingham for its medical education, training, and research programs.
