Parkway elderly housing development fund co., inc. Is exempt from federal and state income taxes under internal revenue code section 501(c)(3) and applicable state regulations. The company files form 990 tax returns in the u.s. Federal jurisdiction and in new york state. With few exceptions, as of september 30, 2017, the corporation is no longer subject to u.s. Federal or state income tax examinations by tax authorities for years before september 30, 2014. The tax returns for the years ended september 30, 2014 through september 30, 2017 are still subject to potential audit by the irs and the taxing authorities in new york state. Management of the company believes it has no material uncertain tax positions and, accordingly it has not recognized any liability for unrecognized tax benefits.
