Mission

The center serves seniors, their caregivers and the community by maintaining an accessible focal point (physical facility) for education, information, health and wellness, recreation, nutrition and social services to enhance the mental and physical well-being of older adults.

Our mission is to foster a healthier, more inclusive and connected portland for adults 55+ through educational and recreational programming, support services, and care.

SINCE ITS LAUNCH IN APRIL 2020, THE ASIAN FOOD PANTRY HAS GROWN TO SERVE APPROXIMATELY 300 HOUSEHOLDS EACH MONTH, DISTRIBUTING MORE THAN 28,867 POUNDS OF CULTURALLY RELEVANT GROCERIES ANNUALLY. THROUGH COLLABORATIONS WITH THE OREGON FOOD BANK, LOCAL FARMERS MARKETS, AND OTHER COMMUNITY PARTNERS, CFPA DISTRIBUTED AN ADDITIONAL 101,773 POUNDS OF FRESH, NUTRIENT-RICH FOOD THROUGH OUR COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY AND GLEANING INITIATIVES.
