Part X : FIN48 Footnote

The Organization is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is exempt from federal and state income taxes on related income. The Organization had no unrelated business income during fiscal years 2024 and 2023, and, therefore, no provision for federal or State income taxes has been made in the accompanying financial statements.The accounting standard on accounting for uncertainty in income taxes addresses the determination of whether tax benefits claimed or expected to be claimed on a tax return should be recorded in the financial statements. This requires the evaluation of tax positions taken or expected to be taken in the course of preparing the Organizations tax returns to determine whether the tax positions are more likely than not of being sustained when challenged or when examined by the applicable tax authority.For the years ended September 30, 2024 and 2023, management has determined that there were no material uncertain tax positions.
