Mission

Borgess Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Borgess Health and is set up to solicit funds. The mission of Borgess Health is to be a values-based health system continuing the healing mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph and responding to the needs of those we serve. Our commitment to those we serve respects the dignity of human life and actively responds to the needs of the poor.

To actively seek and invest charitable support for ascension borgess hospital, so that they may improve the health and well-being of all the people in the communities they serve.

Krause memorial fund for behavioral medicine - for the inpatient behavioral medicine unit for operations and comfort of patients.

Our primary focus is on assisting essential local projects that will help make comprehensive health care services accessible to everyone. Unrestricted gifts to the Ascension Borgess Foundation are directed by our trustees to the areas determined to be of greatest need. There are also a number of restricted funds that support the designated interest of our donors.
