“The organization is filing a 2024 form 990 group return and attempted to comply with the irss new requirement that the affiliate listing included in the return must match irs records exactly but without success. Following irs instructions, contacted the irs e help desk in november 2024 and were informed that this is a known irs system issue affecting group returns. We submitted a written explanation. The irs has not replied. The organization does have affiliates included in the group return, and the attached list reflects all covered subordinate organizations. We have made every reasonable effort to comply with irs e file requirements and are filing in good faith based on the guidance provided by the irs. We respectfully request that the irs accept this return as filed.”
