The organization's federal returns for the years ended june 30, 2013 and beyond could be subject to examination by federal taxing authorities, generally for three years after they are filed. The organization's state returns for the years ended june 30, 2012 and beyond could be subject to examination by state taxing authorities, generally for four years after they are filed.”

| IRS990/MissionDesc | 0 | Our mission is to build a community free from poverty by creating hope, opportunity, and action. We provide essential services, empower people to improve their lives, advocate for justice, and inspire volunteers to love, serve, and share. It expresses not only the specific ways that we address the conditions of poverty, but an understanding that we do so in ways that will have a deep and lasting impact. Hope is created when we provide resources in a compassionate and dignified way. Opportunity is created when we invest in the skills and power residing in individuals and groups. Action is created when we organize volunteers, leaders, and institutions to act in individual and collective ways to eliminate poverty in our community. |
