The metropolitan club managers association, inc. (the "association") was formed for the following purposes: 1. To unite in a common organization those professionally engaged in the management of clubs in the metropolitan district and eastern states; 2. To enhance the member's professional status through certification; 3. To advance the club management profession and to assist individual mcma members and their clubs; 4. To effectively communicate with members, clubs, government, the news media and the general public, and to develop and maintain publications and other materials; 5. To provide a wide variety of educational programs and materials to meet diverse educational needs; 6. To encourage high ethical standards in dealings with fellow club managers' clubs and others; 7.
