“Form 990-ez, part iii, primary exempt purpose - our mission is to strengthen, advance and support the floriculture industry in southern california. Form 990-ez, part iii, line 28, program service accomplishments: the san diego county flower & plant association provides resources that encourage productivity and success.members are apprised of issues and concerns directly related to their operations, such as agricultural survival in urban areas, frost protection, water runoff and conservation, labor relations and energy savings. The association acts as liaisan to the university of california cooperative extension and other agricultural associations. Members are notified of significant events and newly released research. Several association publications further education and promote networking. The annual membership directory and buyers guide provides complete membership listings and product information and is distributed nationwide.”

THE ASSOCIATION ACTS AS LIAISAN TO THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA COOPERATIVE EXTENSION AND OTHER AGRICULTURAL ASSOCIATIONS. MEMBERS ARE NOTIFIED OF SIGNIFICANT EVENTS AND NEWLY RELEASED RESEARCH. SEVERAL ASSOCIATION PUBLICATIONS FURTHER EDUCATION AND PROMOTE NETWORKING. THE ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY AND BUYERS GUIDE PROVIDES COMPLETE MEMBERSHIP LISTINGS AND PRODUCT INFORMATION AND IS DISTRIBUTED NATIONWIDE.
