“The new mexico community aids partnership (nmcap) works to assure that the diverse populations of new mexico receive high quality, culturally appropriate hiv prevention, education and care. The project focuses on innovative and collaborative programs, targeting otherwise underserved and vulnerable populations. Nmcap provides hiv prevention services to more than 3,000 clients, plus thousands more receive nutritional. Support and education through food pantries. Another 3,000 hiv clients receive testing and counseling support. “Sric has adopted the provisions of asc 740-140, accounting for uncertainty in income taxes. Sric recognizes the tax (benefit) expense from uncertain tax positions only if it is more likely than not that the tax positions will be sustained on examination by the tax authorities, based on the technical merits of the position. Any such tax (benefit) expense is measure based on the largest benefit that has a greater than 50% likelihood of being realized upon ultimate settlement. Sric had no unrecognized tax benefits at december 31, 2022 and 2021. Sric files an exempt organization return with the internal revenue service (irs). It is not a "private foundation" for tax purposes.”
