New Bridge Foundation provides high quality, culturally competent drug and alcohol services to adults and adolescents. The primary treatment goal of each of the New Bridge Foundation programs is to provide adults and adolescents with the education, support, and skills necessary to live productive and healthy lives without the use of drugs or alcohol.

Part X : FIN48 Footnote

The New Bridge Foundation, Inc. has obtained tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and from the Franchise Tax Board under Section 23701(d) of the California Revenue and Tax Code. Accordingly, no provision for federal income tax or California Franchise Tax has been made. New Bridge Foundation, Inc. has been classified as a publicly supported charitable organization, which is not a private foundation under IRS Code Section 509(a).GAAP provides accounting and disclosure guidance about positions taken by an organization in its tax returns that might be uncertain. Management has considered its tax positions and believes that all of the positions taken by New Bridge Foundation, Inc. in its federal and state exempt organization tax returns are consistent with GAAP guidance and are more likely than not to be sustained upon examination. New Bridge Foundation, Inc.s returns are subject to examination by federal and state taxing authorities, generally for three years and four years, respectively, after they are filed.

It is a structured long term program in which the community and the group process are viewed as critical tools for the client's recovery.Helios: Helios Program offers three distinct and integrated levels of care, utilizing individualized treatment planning and evidence-based practices and continuum of services: residential, day treatment, and intensive outpatient. The Residential Program is designed to meet the needs of the individuals. It provides round-the-clock support, education, and structure in a caring and compassionate environment. Outpatient treatment, including Day Treatment and Intensive Outpatient, is a great choice for those individuals who need support but are able to receive assistance without the need of residential treatment.New Bridge Foundation offers free after care for life to all our clients who successfully completed their program.

Accordingly, no provision for federal income tax or California Franchise Tax has been made. New Bridge Foundation, Inc. has been classified as a publicly supported charitable organization, which is not a private foundation under IRS Code Section 509(a).GAAP provides accounting and disclosure guidance about positions taken by an organization in its tax returns that might be uncertain. Management has considered its tax positions and believes that all of the positions taken by New Bridge Foundation, Inc. in its federal and state exempt organization tax returns are consistent with GAAP guidance and are more likely than not to be sustained upon examination. New Bridge Foundation, Inc.s returns are subject to examination by federal and state taxing authorities, generally for three years and four years, respectively, after they are filed.
