During the organization's existence, the conflict of interest policy was contained in every board member's manual and was presented to and discussed with new board members during orientation. Every year the organization distributed a questionnaire to each board member who served during that year asking each to disclose any potential conflicts, as defined. In the event of a potential conflict, the organization would follow the procedures outlined in the policy.
