Mission

To build an endowment fund and supervise its creative management. To assist in determining appropriate projects and to be financed with funds raised. To encourage and assist in supporting research in business and economic problems. To assist in conducting conferences for education and development of management personnel worldwide.

To establish continuing partnership between university of south carolina and the business community for the enhancement and improvement of the college of business administration. To solicit and receive gifts subject to conditions imposed thereon for the benefit of the college of business administration. To build an endowment fund and supervise its creative management. To assist determining appropriate projects and to be financed with funds raised. To encourage and assist in supporting research in business and economic problems. To assist in conducting conferences for education and development of management personnel in south carolina and the southeast.

“The foundations endowment consists of approximately 100 individual funds established for a variety of purposes. Its endowment includes both donor-restricted endowment funds and funds designated by the board of trustees to function as endowments.”

“Management evaluated the foundation's tax positions and concluded that the foundation had taken no uncertain tax positions that require adjustment to the financial statements to comply with the provisions of this guidance. With few exceptions, the foundation is no longer subject to income tax examinations by the us federal, state or local tax authorities for the years before 2010.”
