“The bylaws were amended to include Co-Executive directors vs. just allowing one Executive Director.”

“The Organization does not have members, only the Board of Directors and the employees. No one owns any stock but the Board members have voting rights on how the Organization makes management and business decisions.”

“The Board of Directors vote on any new additions/members to the Board when applicable.”

“The accountant prepares the 990 and submits it to the Executive Director and the Director of Operations for their review. Any changes are made and the final version is reviewed by the Board before its filed with the IRS.”

“The Board of Directors and Key employees must annually sign a new conflict of interest statement, thus disclosing any new information to the Organization.”

“In February 2015 the Organization commissioned an Executive Compensation study memo from EConsult Solutions. The study was then presented to the Board by the Compensation and Finance Committee and was used to evaluate and approve the salary of the Executive Director.”

“Raises are determined by the Executive Director and approved by the Board of Directors.”

“The Organization will provide a copy of the 990 upon written request. It also directs the public to review its 990 and form 1023 on another website, like Guidestar or the IRS website.”

In furtherance of such purposes, the Corporation shall(I) Educate students, local media artists and technicians with seminars, business and technical training, while providing fiscal sponsorship opportunities to help aspiring and experienced film professionals;(II) Coordinate on behalf of the City of Philadelphia and its governmental departments film making projects within the City of Philadelphia; and(III) On behalf of the City of Philadelphia and other local governments, promote the region as a film making locality in order to enhance employment opportunities and the image of the region.”
