“The northeastern pennsylvania diversity education consortium developed and presented programs to members of the consortium during the fiscal year ended june 30, 2020. A conference took place in september 2019 which covered many diversity topics. Webinars are continually updted and available on the website with various trainings and informational programs throughout the fiscal year. Topics include multi-racial democracy, toxic masculinity, economics of immigration, workshop on the influences of social class,identifying microaggressions and bias,and many more. The consortium also sponsored webinars and held the annual trans health conference in conjunction with geisinger medical college. Participants in the above activities included students, educators, corporate employers and employees as well as law enforcement personnel.”
