The primary purpose of the organization is to support amateur athleticism in northeastern pennsylvania. The focal point of the organization's activities is the sponsorship of a 26.2-mile marathon. The organization strives to foster and promote a health lifestyle by means of physical exercise. The net proceeds will be donated st. Joseph's center which is a scranton, pennsylvania non-profit organization that cares for medically fragile children.
