AUTISM DIAGNOSTIC CLINICS ARE OFFERED TO CHILDREN 18 MONTHS TO 3-YEARS OLD IN COLLABORATION WITH CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF PHILADELPHIA AND ST. CHRISTOPHER'S HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN USING A TELEHEALTH MODEL. PROVIDED AT NO COST TO FAMILIES IN BERKS, CARBON, LEHIGH, MONROE, NORTHAMPTON AND PIKE COUNTIES. APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS THERAPY TRAINING IS OFFERED TO PARENTS WHO WANT TO LEARN APPLIED BEHAVIORAL ANALYSIS TECHNIQUES TO SUPPORT THEIR CHILD WITH AUTISM. INDIVIDUALIZED, ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS ARE PROVIDED USING VIDEOCONFERENCING. PROVIDED AT NO COST TO FAMILIES IN BERKS, CARBON, LEHIGH, MONROE, NORTHAMPTON AND PIKE COUNTIES.IN FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021, WE EXPANDED OUR APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS FAMILY COACHING PROGRAM FROM ONE THAT WAS OFFERED ONLY IN BERKS COUNTY TO SERVICES IN LEHIGH , NORTHAMPTON, AND MONROE COUNTIES. THE APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS COACHING HELPS PARENTS DEVELOP STRATEGIES, UNDERSTANDING, AND SKILLS TO PROMOTE EFFECTIVE BEHAVIOR IN THEIR CHILDREN AFFECTED WITH AUTISM. OUR AUTISM DIAGNOSTIC CLINIC WAS ALSO EXPANDED FROM BERKS COUNTY INTO THE LEHIGH VALLEY AND MONROE COUNTY. DUE TO COVID, THE DIAGNOSIS CLINICS ADOPTED A VIRTUAL MODEL IN ORDER TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE THIS CRITICAL SERVICE. GROWING GREEN RUNS FOR SIX WEEKS, SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, AND CAMPERS ATTEND FOR ONE OR MORE WEEKS. CAMPERS AGE 8 THROUGH YOUNG ADULT ENJOY A FULL SCHEDULE OF ARTS AND CRAFTS ACTIVITIES, OUTDOOR SPORTS, SWIMMING, MUSIC, GAMES, SCIENCE EXPLORATION AND GUESTS TEACHING SPECIAL TOPICS. CAMP LILY RUNS FOR SIX WEEKS, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, AND CAMPERS ATTEND FOR ONE OR MORE WEEKS. SUMMER CAME IN JULY AND AUGUST 2020 COULD NOT SAFELY BE HELD IN PERSON DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC. EASTERSEALS CREATED A VIRTUAL SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN WHO NORMALLY ATTEND OUR TWO-DAY CAMPS AND OUR OVERNIGHT CAMP. EASTERSEALS RETURNED TO ITS IN-PERSON CAMP MODEL FOR THE 2021 SUMMER CAMP SEASON.HANGTIME IS AN EVENING RECREATION PROGRAM IN BERKS COUNTY THAT ALLOWS TEENS AND YOUNG ADULTS TO MEET UP WEEKLY TO SOCIALIZE, MAKE NEW FRIENDS AND ENJOY FUN ACTIVITIES. HANG TIME IS OFFERED IN 8-WEEK SESSIONS FROM OCTOBER THROUGH MAY. DURING FY 2020-2021, EASTER SEALS PROVIDED RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS TO 196 PERSONS.

IT COMBINES WORKPLACE AND INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS INSTRUCTION WITH PAID WORK EXPERIENCE TO PROVIDE PARTICIPANTS WITH THE SKILLS THEY NEED TO TRANSITION MORE SUCCESSFULLY INTO ADULTHOOD. DURING FY 2020-2021, EASTERSEALS PROVIDED CAREER PATHWAY SERVICES TO 30 CONSUMERS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

DEVELOPMENTAL SCREENINGS, WORKSHOPS FOR PARENTS AND INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING SESSIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT NO COST. SCREENINGS ARE CONDUCTED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS, AND PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS EVERYWHERE CAN ACCESS THEM ON OUR WEBSITE. DURING FY 2020-2021, 222 CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES RECEIVED SUPPORT FROM THE MAKE THE FIRST FIVE COUNT PROGRAM.
