“Supplemental information to form 990 form 990 - organization's mission or most significant activities to promote cooperation and community revitalization in the areas of recreation, downtown revitalization, historical preservation, tourist development, economic development, housing and neighborhood improvement and arts and culture. Page 6 - line 9: see attached schedule of board of directors. Page 6 - line 11: the 990 is reviewed by the treasurer and is then available at the meeting for anyone to review and comment on. Schedule a - page 2, line 17a: the organization works through the local state legislative office to obtain grants for community projects. They also have an ongoing outreach to solicit funds from local companies and non-profit groups committed to community improvement. The membership of the organization is open to all residents of the tamaqua area. There are no dues for membership. At the annual meeting, the residents that attend vote for the board of directors and bring before the board suggestions for community improvements and activities to promote cultural events and tourism in the area.”
