Funds are raised through entry fees and donations during these special events. Wcasa sports complex is a 17-acre facility built with monetary and trade donations in 1996 and continues to operate as a non-profit organization with no regular municipal funding. Wcasa strives off the donated time of thousands of adult participants as well as the parents of thousands of youth and with local businesses to enable our continued operation as a state of the art facility. It consists of 5 lighted playing fields including (1) official little league baseball field, (2) softball fields per specification of the amateur softball association of pa, (1) football/lacrosse field based on national federation of high schools specifications, and (1) soccer field based on nfhs specifications.
