ADULT GROUP AND ADULT THEATER: WE HAVE A STRONG YOUNG ADULT GROUP THAT MEETS MONTHLY WITH PIZZA, LIGHT SNACKS, CRAFTS, KARAOKE, MUSIC, AND GAMES. WE HAVE A SMALLER SOCIAL CONNECTIONS GROUP THAT MEETS BI-WEEKLY, DESIGNED TO FOSTER PERSONAL GROWTH AND SOCIAL CONNECTIONS. WE COMPLETED OUR SUMMER THEATER 2023 PROGRAM WHERE THE PARTICIPANTS SELECTED THEIR OWN CHARACTERS, AND OUR PLAYWRIGHT WROTE AN ORIGINAL PLAY FOR THEM TO PERFORM FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY.-$9,343
CREATIVE ABILITIES GROUP: STARTED IN 2018 FOR YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS, THIS GROUP'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH AUTISM TO PARTICIPATE IN A VARIETY OF FINE ARTS, PERFORMING ARTS, MUSIC, AND CRAFT ACTIVITIES IN THEIR COMMUNITY, HELPING TO INSPIRE THEM, ENRICH THEIR LIVES, AND HELP THEM TO REALIZE THEIR FULL CREATIVE POTENTIAL. CURRENTLY, WE HAVE PROGRAMS WITH CEDAR CREST COLLEGE AND THE BAUM SCHOOL OF ART AS WELL AS MEETUPS AT A LOCAL CAF IN EMMAUS. PARENT/CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUPS: WE HAVE PARENT/CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUPS FOR PARENTS OF PRESCHOOLERS, SCHOOL AGE AND ADULTS WITH AUTISM. “Creative abilities group: started in 2018 for youth and young adults, this group's mission is to provide opportunities for individuals with autism to participate in a variety of fine arts, performing arts, music, and craft activities in their community, helping to inspire them, enrich their lives, and help them to realize their full creative potential. Currently, we have programs with cedar crest college and the baum school of art as well as meetups at a local caf in emmaus. Parent/caregiver support groups: we have parent/caregiver support groups for parents of preschoolers, school age and adults with autism. It is extremely important to have parent/caregiver network with each other to build an autism friendly community.”

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt6CREATIVE ABILITIES GROUP: STARTED IN 2018 FOR YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS, THIS GROUP'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH AUTISM TO PARTICIPATE IN A VARIETY OF FINE ARTS, PERFORMING ARTS, MUSIC, AND CRAFT ACTIVITIES IN THEIR COMMUNITY, HELPING TO INSPIRE THEM, ENRICH THEIR LIVES, AND HELP THEM TO REALIZE THEIR FULL CREATIVE POTENTIAL. CURRENTLY, WE HAVE PROGRAMS WITH CEDAR CREST COLLEGE AND THE BAUM SCHOOL OF ART AS WELL AS MEETUPS AT A LOCAL CAF IN EMMAUS. PARENT/CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUPS: WE HAVE PARENT/CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUPS FOR PARENTS OF PRESCHOOLERS, SCHOOL AGE AND ADULTS WITH AUTISM. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO HAVE PARENT/CAREGIVER NETWORK WITH EACH OTHER TO BUILD AN AUTISM FRIENDLY COMMUNITY.
