Mission

Goal:to be a catalyst for action, engaging members and the broader community to foster a cohesive and effective health and human services system in montgomery and bucks counties.

The bucks-mont collaborative is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to fostering information and resource sharing, dialogue, and collaborative action that produce results-oriented impact on health and human services issues in bucks and montgomery counties. We partner with the community through three core program areas: collaboration, education, and advocacy.

Governance Explanations

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11B

The board president, treasurer, and executive director review the 990. It is then provided to the board members via email for review prior to the board of directors meeting. At the meeting it is reviewed and the document is open to questions and explanations. When satisfied with the 990, the board votes to authorize the submission to the irs.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

The bucks-mont collaborative board of directors conflict of interest procedure: once per year, generally at the june meeting of the board of directors, board members complete a conflict-of-interest form. These are collected by the executive director who reviews them and brings any potential issues to the attention of the president for follow-up. Additionally, the employee handbook includes a conflict-of-interest policy.

The board of directors is primarily comprised of executive directors in the region. They provide guidance on approrpriate compensation relative to the work required and regional cost of living.
