“The fund is a not-for-profit organization that is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. In addition, the fund qualifies for charitable contribution deductions and has been classified as an organization that is not a private foundation. Income which is not related to exempt purposes, less applicable deductions, is subject to federal and state corporate income taxes. The foundation had no net unrelated business income for the years ended december 31, 2014 and 2013. Management evaluated the fund's tax positions and concluded that the fund had taken no uncertain tax positions that require adjustment to the financial statements. The fund files income tax returns in the u.s. Federal jurisdiction. Generally, the fund in no longer subject to federal income tax examinations for years before 2011.”
