“Persons may become active members upon the approval of the application by the membership committee and by election to membership by the majority votes of the members of the organization present at any regular meeting.”

“Officers and directors are nominated at the regular september and october meetings. Nominations are held open through the adjournment of the october meeting and elected at the regular november meeting. Only adult members in good standing receive ballots to vote.”

“Each active member in good standing is entitled to one vote upon all matters of the organization at any regular meeting.”

“Copies of the "draft" 990 are provided to the board members of the organization. At the next monthly director's meeting, the board members review the form 990 and discuss the return. If any necessary changes are noted, they provide this information to the tax preparers. Once all necessary changes have been made the treasurer approves the release of the final form 990. The form is then signed by the treasurer, dated and submitted electronically by the filing deadline. A copy of the "final" form 990 is then provided to the organization to maintain for their records / public inspection.”
