“A draft of form 990 is first provided to the finance committee for review, including consideration of the general accuracy of the filing, financial data and disclosures made. Once approved by the committee, the form 990 is submitted to the apm board of directors for its consideration and final approval prior to filing with the irs. A record of the board action for acceptance of the form 990 filing is maintained in the record of board, finance committee and/or executive committee minutes, as applicable.”

Based on both the annual performance appraisal and survey data obtained, the executive committee makes a recommendation to the apm board of directors as to the level of compensation and benefits for the president/ceo. The board of directors maintains sole authority to approve compensation and benefits for the president/ceo.”
