Thereafter, the preliminary form 990 is sent to each officer and trustee for their review and comments, and all questions and comments are responded to. In addition, the form 990 is reviewed and discussed with the governing board's audit and compliance committee and thereafter with the trustees. After the above-described reviews and discussions, the final form 990 is signed and filed with the irs.”
